V380 Partners with Huawei Cloud to Shape the Future of Intelligent Security
2024.07.02

From June 21 to 23, 2024, Huawei Developer Conference (HDC 2024) was successfully held in Dongguan Songshan Lake Science City. Macro-video Technologies participated the event as a security solution partner within the Huawei Cloud ecosystem, joining discussions on the next wave of intelligent transformation driven by AI and cloud technologies.

During the thematic forum titled “Towards the Depths of Cloud: Building a New Era of Intelligent Industry with AI,” Macro-video Technologies, Huawei Cloud, and Chinasoft International signed a tripartite cooperation agreement. The partnership marks a deeper alignment in cloud computing, AI foundation models, and industrial digitalization.

The forum centered on frontier topics in large-scale AI models, including natural language processing (NLP), multimodal intelligence, and computer vision. Discussions covered applications such as language translation and sentiment analysis, image captioning and video understanding, as well as object detection and visual recognition, highlighting the expanding role of AI foundation models across industrial scenarios.

In parallel sessions, the company engaged in in-depth exchanges with Huawei Cloud on cloud service integration and solution development. Both parties explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration in digital transformation and technological innovation, with a shared focus on accelerating AI adoption in smart security and IoT ecosystems.

Advancing Smart Security with AI

With more than two decades of experience in smart home security, the company has built capabilities spanning R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and global deployment. Its wireless camera solutions are widely adopted across consumer and enterprise markets.

Macro-video Technologies presented its latest innovations, including the V380 StarLight Series and Micro-power camera lines, demonstrating continued advancement in imaging performance, energy efficiency, and system integration. Both sides exchanged perspectives on leveraging complementary strengths to explore new development pathways in AI-driven security systems, smart manufacturing, and HarmonyOS ecosystem compatibility.

AI Foundation Models Driving System Evolution

Supported by Huawei Cloud’s Pangu large model (version 5.0), the next phase of product development will extend across multimodal AI, NLP, visual computing, and scientific analytics.

This technological stack enables tighter integration between perception, interaction, and decision-making, forming the basis of a more adaptive security system spanning residential, industrial, and service scenarios. The goal is a unified architecture where communication, device connectivity, and visual intelligence operate as a coordinated system rather than isolated functions.

Intelligent Communication: Personalized and Responsive

NLP capabilities will enhance human-machine interaction across devices and services. AI-powered customer support will operate continuously, allowing users to communicate via voice or text and receive real-time responses.

Through multi-channel integration, inquiries can be routed and resolved more efficiently. Personalized voice services will also support customization based on language preferences and communication styles, improving accessibility across diverse user groups.

Intelligent IoT: Connected and Secure Ecosystem

Through Huawei Cloud’s IoT platform, Macro-video Technologies will further strengthen device interoperability and data collaboration across ecosystems. This will enable efficient handling of large-scale data streams while supporting cross-domain synchronization and system-wide coordination.

At the same time, the architecture ensures data integrity and traceability across the entire lifecycle—from consumer customization to manufacturing workflows—reinforcing security and trust in distributed environments.

Intelligent Vision: Cross-Modal Understanding and Search

Enhanced by multimodal AI capabilities, future systems will improve image recognition and scene interpretation accuracy. Video streams can be translated into structured descriptions through image-to-text generation, enabling faster understanding of key events.

Critical information will be prioritized automatically, reducing noise in high-frequency monitoring environments. In parallel, AI-driven analytics will convert large-scale surveillance data into visual reports for operational insight.

Toward an Open Intelligent Ecosystem

As digital transformation accelerates, cross-industry collaboration is becoming increasingly central to technological development. The cooperation between both parties is designed to combine AI cloud capabilities with real-world security applications, creating scalable solutions for global markets.

The shared direction is clear: accelerate intelligent infrastructure, strengthen ecosystem integration, and expand the practical application of AI in security and IoT systems.

Looking ahead, Macro-video Technologies will continue working with Huawei Cloud to expand its global footprint, enhance product intelligence, and deliver more accessible, reliable, and intelligent security solutions to users worldwide—contributing to the broader development of the digital economy.
